Women of Irish Heritage (WIH)
WIH Professional Network in the North of England
WIH is a unique network that has created a safe and ambitious space for women to thrive, build their confidence and progress, both personally and professionally. The network meets several times a year for events in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool and welcomes all Irish women and women of Irish Heritage in the north of England.
Members describe WIH as a place where they belong and say that it “feels like home”. For many, it’s a place where their achievements and skills are acknowledged and celebrated, where they can connect with their shared heritage and where they can form valued business relationships and long-lasting friendships.
Five reasons to join:
Membership and sessions are completely *free*
Exclusive career advice from a woman of Irish heritage at each event
An opportunity to meet other women with Irish heritage across varied industries and sectors
Nibbles, drinks and interesting conversations
Plus outside-of-the-box fundraising events - we’ve organised music nights, preloved fashion sales, cheese and wine evenings and even a fundraising lunch with Dara O’Briain - to support Fréa’s lifeline work

When you have something in common with everyone in the room, there’s a different vibe – one that’s more about supporting each other than having to be “professional.”
