How you can help

Fréa Irish charity get involved

There are so many ways to get involved with Fréa, donate your time and skills and help raise vital funds for vulnerable Irish people across the north of England.

Fréa’s Big Irish Breakfast

Every March, we ask people to join in with Fréa’s Big Irish Breakfast. During the month of St Patrick’s Day, Irish people all over the world enjoy their breakfast (or host one for friends and family) and make a donation to Fréa’s life-changing work. Whatever your breakfast of choice and wherever you are in the world, be part of it! #BigIrishBreakfast

St Patrick’s Day Ball in aid of Fréa

In 2025, our inaugural St Patrick’s Day Ball in aid of Fréa will take place on Saturday 8 March at Manchester Piccadilly Mercure Hotel, with live music from All Folk’d Up, The Skylarks (The Voice UK), Sonas Irish Dance and the voice of Old Trafford, Alan Keegan. There are a number of sponsorship and table packages available and all profits go towards Fréa’s lifeline work.

Business support

We work with businesses on both sides of the Irish Sea who want to help vulnerable Irish people and give back to their communities. Corporate support takes many forms, including sponsoring our events and activities, fundraising on our behalf, undertaking pro bono work for Fréa or taking on a team challenge to raise Fréa’s profile. Contact us today

Leave a legacy

A legacy costs nothing in your lifetime but has the power to make a significant impact on the future of vulnerable Irish facing hardship and mental health challenges in the North of England.

It could also benefit your family by reducing the overall tax burden on your estate. etc etc etc

If you would like to discuss supporting Fréa through a legacy gift, please get in touch with our solicitor partner Irwin Mitchell LLP for impartial advice and to receive a discount on the cost of their will writing service. Any information you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not commit you in any way.
