Tender Brief - Content Creator for Fréa
Fréa is a unique partnership between 3 Irish charities in the North of England, Irish Community Care, Leeds Irish Health and Homes and Irish Community Care Manchester; all working together to change lives and create thriving Irish communities.
Fréa comes from the Irish word ‘fréamh’ meaning ‘root’. Our three partner charities are rooted in our shared Irish heritage and a duty to reach out and offer care community and connection to our diverse Irish communities across the North of England.
Current programmes include fundraising to sustain the life-saving and life-changing work of the Fréa charities, a thriving Women of Irish Heritage Network, Renewing Roots offering holistic support for former residents of Irelands Mother and Baby and County Home Institutions.
We are seeking a suitably qualified freelance Content Creator to enhance Fréa’s social media presence, widening our audience across different social media platforms.
Responsibilities
Producing high quality, original and creative social content plans for Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, website, and other platforms as appropriate.
Shooting and editing engaging photo and video content that will resonate with our diverse audiences, including our Irish communities, Funders, Donors, etc.
Build a digital fundraising campaign to sustain the life saving and life changing work of the Fréa charities.
Deliver day-to-day social media posting, including longer-term planning and PR support for large events.
Collaborating with the Fréa Team to ensure content stays aligned to our mission and values.

The successful applicant will have:
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends to reach diverse audiences.
Knowledge and awareness of Irish culture, and diverse Irish communities.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competent in capturing content with phone.
Skilled in creative software such as Canva or Adobe.
