TRUTH RECOVERY INDEPENDENT PANEL 

Have you or a family member been impacted by a Mother and Baby Institution, Magdalene Laundry or Workhouse in Northern Ireland, or their related pathways and practices, including the adoption and care systems? Have you worked or volunteered in, or lived in close proximity to one of these institutions? Do you have any relevant information, knowledge or memories of these institutions or their practices?

The Truth Recovery Independent Panel are an Independent Panel appointed by the Northern Ireland Executive Office to find out the truth about Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses in Northern Ireland from 1922 - 1995, and their related pathways and practices, including the adoption and care systems. 

The Panel wish to hear from people who have been impacted by or who have any knowledge or memories of the institutions and their related pathways and practices.

The Panel are collecting testimony from people affected by the issues under our investigation in a safe and supportive space, with confidentiality as an option.
